California Republic Comic Con

California Republic Comic Con is the premier comic con in the Central Valley with Celebrity guests, live concerts, arcade, and several of different activities for friends and family. The first historic California Republic Comic Con began on September 17, 2016. It was the very first Comic Con event in the history of Merced, California and remains Merced’s original and official comic con. In 2016 it seemed like just about every city was getting a convention except for Merced. The city of Merced is a proud people and with that pride came Captain California the representative of California Republic Comic Con. CRCC and Merced showed the world that a comic con can thrive and support the community, and in 2016 the first CRCC was a rousing success, and repeated the feat in 2017 with throngs of attendees. CRCC is known for the largest vendor, exhibitor hall in the Southern Central Valley, and is the only comic con with a Film Festival, along with Laser Tag and other fun activities. CRCC became the hub of fun for Central Valley, and continues into 2018 to give people fun and enjoyment without a heavy expense of the pocket book
