8-Bit Eric started playing video games at the age of four when his older brother bought a Sega Master System. From there he was instantly hooked on playing with anything he could get his hands on. Shortly after, his life was forever changed when he received his own NES for Christmas and the rest is history. In 2010, he created a video game review show called The 8-bit Eric Show on YouTube. Since then, he decided to start collecting video games again and became friends with many other gamers in the YouTube community.

You might know YouTuber and Twitch streamer Boogie2988 better as his lisping angry alter ego "Francis." Boogie has a 12 year long career of smashing Xbox 360s, and sharing gaming news with his audience.

Charles Martinet

Beloved the world over for voicing perhaps the most popular and recognized character in video game history, Charles Martinet is an American actor, best known for providing the voice of Mario, the titular character in Nintendo’s flagship video game franchise. Beyond the mustachioed plumber, Martinet also voices Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and a select few other characters from the same series. Like all great stories, Charles Martinet’s road to fame had humble beginnings. Martinet was told by his friend that there was going to be an audition at a trade show in which you "talk to people as a plumber". At first Martinet planned to talk like a stereotypical Italian American with a deep, raspy voice (which is how Mario sounded in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World cartoons). He then thought to himself that it would be too harsh for children to hear, so he made it more soft-hearted and friendly, resulting in what Mario's voice is today. Martinet began working for Nintendo in 1994 as the voice of Mario in a computer generated version of the character that greeted and interacted with attendees at industry and trade events. This system was called Mario in Real-Time or MIRT and was developed by Pasadena based SimGraphics. Martinet could see the attendees by means of a hidden camera setup and a facial motion capture rig recorded his mouth movements in order to synchronize Martinet's mouth movement with the on-screen Mario mouth movement. This digital puppetry, with Martinet's comic performance, was a novelty at the time. Although most fans were introduced to Martinet’s version of Mario with the 1996 Nintendo 64 game, Super Mario 64, Martinet's video game voice over debut was as Mario in the 1995 Windows release of Interplay's game Mario's FUNdamentals. Since then, he has gone on to voice Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toadsworth, Metal Mario, Shadow Mario, Piantas (Male), Mini-Mario Toys, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and Baby Wario in most games wherein these characters speak. He also voiced the enemies Wart, Mouser, Tryclyde, and Clawgrip in Super Mario Advance. His voice work appears in the English and Japanese language versions of the games. Not just limited to roles in Mario games, Martinet has also lent his voice to the boxers and the announcer in the Super NES title Super Punch-Out!!. He voiced the character Vigoro in Sega's Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube role-playing video game, Skies of Arcadia. He did the voice of Homunculus in the Konami PlayStation 2, Xbox and Windows game Shadow of Destiny, and provided voices for Reader Rabbit and The ClueFinders games. Charles Martinet wanted to voice Link in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but Shigeru Miyamoto told him that Link would remain without a voice. However Link's grunts have been voiced by various Japanese voice actors. In addition to video game voice overs, Martinet has worked as a voice actor in commercials, cartoons, and promotions.

Chris Tang

Chris Tang is a multi-talented game developer and eSports personality, known as the commentary voice of the Classic Tetris World Championship and the "BOOM! Tetris for Jeff!" meme. He's been the main event commentator since the beginning of the CTWC, which is now in its tenth year with tens of millions of views online and a historic broadcast debut on ESPN in 2019! As a competitor, Chris is known as the "Rock the Rock" Sega World Champion, Hawaii State Nintendo Champion, and Nintendo World Championships 1990 Los Angeles City Champion. In 2016, Chris was invited to join the U.S. National Video Game Team, and in 2017 he was inducted into the International Video Game Hall Of Fame in Ottumwa, Iowa. Success in competitive gaming led Chris to a career in game development with credits that include favorites such as "Gauntlet IV", "Primal Rage", "Marvel Vs. Capcom", "Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike", and "Tetris" - and is also the game designer of the infamously cancelled "Primal Rage II", which Engadget called "2017's hottest new fighting game". He is currently the Senior Game Designer of the high speed rail-shooter, "STRIKE BLAZINGER" being developed for PC, arcade, and consoles. Chris is passionate about gaming history and cultural expression. He's featured in films such as "Ecstasy of Order: The Tetris Masters" and "Gamer Age", can be seen as a cosplayer on HBO's "Entourage" and various "Tiger& Bunny" video releases, and has contributed as a speaker at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Daniel Pesina

Master Pesina, a gold medal winner in international as well as USA sanctioned martial arts tournaments, gained his notoriety for his contribution to the Mortal Kombat franchise. He gave life to Johnny Cage, father of all Mortal Kombat characters, Scorpion, SubZero, Reptile, Smoke and Noob Saibot. Master Pesina is also featured on the side art of the first Mortal Kombat arcade cabinets.

Drunken Master Paul

Along with his ongoing invasion of the MetalJesusRocks crew, Drunken Master Paul makes videos, regularly live streams, does bad things to good music, and probably drinks exactly the right amount of beer. DMP is obsessed with monkeying around with everything in the world: Games, cocktails, beer, cars, cakes, monkeys, the lot. Renaissance Man or Directionless Idiot? You decide. He started playing video games on a coal fired Pong, did time in the industry working for Sierra On Line and Wizards of the Coast, and has been tinkering with Unity 3D and Hololens. Eric Wile

Eric Wile is a credited video game designer. He has done level design, storyboarding, concept design, game engine design etc. His passion for gaming started when he was very young. He started playing the Atari and was so good that he collected a wide scale of badges and letters from the game companies. He was even mentioned as one of the top 25 players in the nation when he was only 8 years old. During this time he started to develop a reputation at the arcades in Colorado as the player to beat. He broke many long-held records for the Atari as well. In 2002 Eric moved to San Diego for the chance of a lifetime. He accepted an offer from Verant Interactive. Verant was later bought by Sony and the name was changed to Sony Online Entertainment. They started producing and developing MMO’s and ironically at the time this was Sony’s most profitable division. During his time at Sony Online Entertainment, Eric had a major hand in the development of several extremely popular titles such as EverQuest, EverQuest II, EverQuest Online Adventures, PlanetSide, Star Wars: Galaxies and Vanguard Saga of Heroes. His crowning achievement was his involvement with the popular EverQuest franchise, even going so far as to develop EverQuest: Macintosh Edition, which earned him the prestigious Sony Achievement award. He is currently in production of his own indie tabletop game.

Erik Pierson

Erik Pierson's YouTube channel Retail Archaeology covers dead malls, retail history, urban exploration, and retro video games & toys. Erik has been playing video games since he can remember and collecting them for over 15 years. His love of video games fueled his passion for urban exploration and filming dead malls and abandoned places. He discovered urban exploration is very much like playing a real life video game! This lead to the creation of the Retail Archaeology channel in November of 2016. The Retail Archaeology channel has also covered topics such as video game and toy hunting, the resurgence of arcades, and many other subjects.

Fantavision

Fanta created the YouTube channel “FANTAVISION” back in 2012 as a secondary channel for another channel called “CraigslistGameFinds”. As the other channel died, “FANTAVISION” rose from the ashes with the “Tales from Retail” video series chronicling his past as a GameStop keyholder and Walmart electronics employee. With various stories coming from viewers, friends of Fanta, and roommates, the variety of guests continues to keep the series fresh. Along with the success of the “Tales from Retail” series, Fanta branched out into making a podcast called the “Back to the Futon Podcast” with his friend and roommate Eric. This two to three hour podcast covers everything from gaming to personal life stories. Keeping in the theme of gaming, Fanta covers the newest stories coming from the video game industry. He gives his opinions on corrupt corporations, new game information, and the future of the industry as a whole. FANTAVISION started as an experimental channel where he could post whatever style of video he felt like that week and continues to be that way to this day. Hellena Taylor

Hellena was born in London and grew up in England. She was a member of the Surrey County Youth Theatre and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. She trained at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). There she trained for three years in classical theatre, studying voice under Barbara Berkery. Later, while living in Los Angeles, she studied acting with Larry Moss for four and a half years. She continues to study with Larry’s acolytes, Karl Bury in New York and Vincent Riotta in London. In the voice world, she is best known for her role as Bayonetta. She is also the voice of Eva Green for the video game of The Golden Compass, Veronique in The Saboteur, various voices in Pirates of the Caribbean III and Dragon Age. She can do many accents and voices. She has voiced commercials, trailers, PSA’s, cartoons, promos, announcements, a GPS system, she has also narrated for television and documentaries, done ADR work, voice-matched other actors in post production and worked on the radio. Other acting roles include Tess in the London production of The Sisters Rosensweig by Wendy Wasserstein at The Old Vic and Greta in Whit Stillman’s film Barcelona. Hellena has written a screenplay which she is directing and co-producing. This is her main focus currently, Her screenplay will also be produced as a play. She is writing two other screenplays. Alongside her acting, she directs plays. She has some ideas for uplifting video games that she would like to develop. Hellena believes the arts can be a powerful force for good, and wishes, to spread and share the values of love, compassion, generosity and kindness.

Horsemen Of

Horsemen Of are a group of four friends and long time cosplayer/propmakers whose love of cosplay, planning epic events, and going on new adventures together pushed them to combine all of those loves into one group together! They go to cons in lands far and wide in search of adventure and to spread the good word of party medium.Collaboration is integral to their mission and all of the friends they work with become "riders" to promote inclusion and because there's never been a great party without having fantastic friends by your side. They created such events as Insomnia Falls: A FFXV ball and "Find the Safe Room! A P5 speakeasy event." They have even been featured on Kotaku numerous times for their FFXV cosplay. They are Deb and Paul of Frank and Nat's Armory and Garrick and Jackie of KnowOne's Designs.

Jeffrey Wittenhagen

Jeffrey Wittenhagen is an avid retro video game writer/publisher, game publisher and a cohost of the Switchmania Playcast. As time has gone on, he has written an award winning gaming book Hidden Treasures (recently re-released as Hidden Gaming Gems: Generation by Generation) and has published multiple retro gaming collector books such as: The Complete NES, The Complete SNES and NES Oddities & the Homebrew Revolution. He also came up with the popular Complete Virtual Boy book and is working on the first volume on a line of Nintendo Switch Collector books.

Jen Taylor

Jen Taylor is an American actress best known as the voices of Cortana and Dr. Halsey in the Halo video game series. Jen also voiced Princess Peach and Toad in Mario Brother’s games for many years. She voices Salem in RWBY, Zoey in Left 4 Dead, Lina, Medusa, Puck and Windranger in Dota 2, Atomic Wonder Woman in Infinite Crisis and a myriad of characters in many other games. If you listen closely, you just might find her in Destiny as well. If you have a Windows Phone or P.C. she is the voice of your personal assistant.

John Hancock

John Hancock is a known collector and enthusiast in the video game community. John has a well-documented collection of over 10,000 games and complete collections of over 30 different systems. Over 98% of his collection has been found in person. John was part of the Portland Retro Gaming Expo organizer board for over 6 years, when then he started his own charity video game show, Cowlitz Gamers for Kids. The show has raised over $100,000 for non profits over the years. John also has made guest appearances on several Youtube channels, such as MetalJesusRocks, Gamester81, and Happy Console Gamer. John also has been active with his own YouTube Channel which he uploads weekly showcasing his collection and talking video games.

John Riggs

John Riggs started his YouTube channel in November 2014 as means to showcase his love for video games and breakfast cereal. It features a variety of topics including how to edit your own Nintendo games, how to clean and 'fix' your old carts with 'Open Cart Surgery' and showcases new technology that most may not have known about. He also gets a lot of help from his daughters who are featured in his videos regularly. John's a regular guest on the MetalJesusRocks channel, had his Aladdin Deck Enhancer blown up thanks to a wish from the Angry Video Game Nerd, is "taller than he expected" and is looking forward to seeing everyone at Game On Expo!

Kenny James

Kenny is best known as the voice of Bowser in the Nintendo Super Mario Bros franchise with over 35 title credits. He has been providing the voice and personality of Bowser since Super Mario Strikers in 2005. Other voice work includes Zingo, a story telling dragon for a children’s program, narration and audiobooks. Kenny is also a prolific theater actor performing in musicals, dramas and comedies in the Puget Sound area.

Kinsey Burke

Kinsey Burke is an avid video game collector hailing from Seattle, WA. She has been a contributor on the popular YouTube Channel MetalJesusRocks for 5 years and recently started her own channel (Kinszilla) dedicated to her love of video games and craft beer! She has also worked in the games industry doing freelance event management. PR, and social media marketing for a number of years.

Little Sparkz

Little Sparkz is a cosplayer and Twitch Creative streamer from Arizona. She focuses on craftsmanship and specializes in EVA foam armor, creating realistic textures, and detailed painting. Most of her costumes portray characters from Blizzard Entertainment games like World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm. She is most recognized for her cosplays of Chromie, of which she has cosplayed both the World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm versions and also for her centaur cosplay of Cenarius for which she built a wearable deer body with moving legs. She is featured in Blizzard’s book “Blizzard Cosplay: Tips, Tricks, and Hints” with both her Chromie and Cenarius cosplays. She has won many cosplay awards including Best Armor at Twitchcon 2017, several awards at Blizzcon, Amazing Arizona, and a Grand Prize at Esports Arizona. As someone who didn’t start cosplaying until her early 30s, she is an advocate for cosplay positivity and starting cosplay at any age, shape, or size.

Loki Twin

Loki Twin is a native to Phoenix that has been active in cosplay since 2014. Best known for his resemblance to Tom Hiddleston, he has a variety of Loki cosplays. He also cosplays characters from Dragon Ball Super, X-Men, and Detroit: Become Human. When not appearing at conventions, he can be found appearing at community events as a member of the Arizona Avengers.

Lucky Lai

Lucky Lai has been attending anime conventions since 2008, admiring cosplayers for their amazing craft on the con floor and fantastic photos from the internet. Then in 2018 she finally decided to take the leap and showcased her first costume, making friends with not only cosplayers and photographers, but slowly gained a following for her work! Fast forward a year later and she's had her costumes featured on websites like Kotaku, Gamespot and IGN. After debuting Ahri from League of Legends, Ishtar from Fate/Grand Order and 2B from Nier Automata, she's excited to expand her arsenal of video game centric cosplays of some of her favorite characters. On her off time she enjoys playing Overwatch, LOL, or Tekken, reads manga and eat LOTS of snacks.

Mary Gibbs

Mary is best known for voicing Boo in the 2001 Disney/Pixar film Monsters, Inc. She also voiced Boo from Kingdom Hearts (2019). She is the daughter of story artist Rob Gibbs. Having been two years old at the time of filming for Monsters, Inc., the crew found that Gibbs was unable to sit still in the recording booth, and so they followed her around the studio with a microphone to record her dialogue. Archive recordings of her cries and screams were re-used for toddler-age Riley Andersen in Inside Out.

The Metal Jesus is a long-haired rocker dude who runs a popular YouTube channel dedicated to Retro Gaming with a Heavy Metal soundtrack. With the help of the Seattle gaming community (The MJR Crew) he covers Hidden Gems, Buying Guides as well as the popular I HATE U series, Gamer Eats and much more. He was also an employee at mega publisher Sierra On-Line in the 90's and he brings his love of big box PC gaming to his channel as well.

Nerdy Nick_91

“Nerdy Nick_91” is an Arizona native content creator that strives to be a little more nerdy every day. He creates videos for his YouTube channel as well as live streams as an official member of the Facebook Gaming Level Up program nearly every day! He hosts a weekly late night talk show every Wednesday night called “Nights w/Nerdy Nick” where he breaks down news in comics, video games and movies. Nick is all about having a blast from the past while keeping up with today’s latest gaming trends and getting everyone involved! He is also known in the cosplay community for his standout “Super Buff Mario” cosplay as well as several other physically impressive cosplays. He isn’t your average gamer and he likes to keep it that way!

Paul Niemeyer

Paul E. Niemeyer started his career in video game art by illustrating for industry legend P. Farris in the art department at Bally/Midway from 1982-1984. At Bally/Midway, Paul did art on games like Tapper, PacMan Plus, Super PacMan, Professor PacMan, TRON, Satan's Hollow, Spy Hunter, WACKO, and an endless, anonymous list of prototype games. In 1984, Paul went freelance and had a dual career as an designer/illustrator in the Chicago ad agencies, and a game art designer/illustrator for the video game community. Paul worked on a number of gaming projects as a freelancer, but none was more prestigious, or well known as Mortal Kombat. In 1992, Paul did the final illustrations of the Mortal Kombat logo and the artwork on the cabinet, control panels, and the header for MORTAL KOMBAT! Through out the 1990's, Paul worked on promotional campaigns for movie properties like Little Mermaid, Jurassic Park II, Men in Black, Demolition Man,to name a few, as well as a myriad of ad campaigns for international companies and corporations. In 2000, Paul helped start Eagle Games, where he was the creative director and designed & illustrated art for the games. In 2006, Paul opened a top 10 rated haunted attraction known as ABYSS Haunted House and ran it successfully until 2014. Since then, Paul designs and builds props for escape rooms, theme parks, haunted attractions and fests all over the world, as well as getting to meet all the fans of all those great games from so long ago!

Rachael Lillis

Rachael is probably best known for her roles as Misty, Jessie and Jigglypuff in the original cast of 'Pokémon' (seasons 1-8). She also voiced roles in 'Cubix', 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', 'Chaotic' and 'Sonic X'. She studied theater and classical voice in NYC, and she has played various character roles in animation, audiobook and documentary voiceover, theater, opera choruses and indie films. She also played roles in 'Your Lie in April', 'Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works', 'HunterXHunter' and 'Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn'. Robbie Lakeman

Robbie Lakeman is a competitive gamer and has been the world record holder for the arcade game Donkey Kong since 2017. After holding the record from 4 September 2014 until 16 January 2016, he held the record for the week of 11 April 2016. In 21 December 2017, he was able to retake the world record for Donkey Kong. On 2 February 2018, Lakeman broke his own record with a score of 1,247,700. Lakeman has broken the world record a total of eight times. The fourth time he reclaimed the title was from Wes Copeland, after only six hours of being beaten
